NOTE: Unless you have a signed buyers agent agreement with the real estate agent the agent is working for the seller or the transaction NOT for you. Florida real estate agents are supposed to disclose this upfront however in practice this disclosure appears to rarely happen.
In general I've found the quality of Florida real estate agents to be disappointing. Many seem to only be interested in closing a deal. I've yet to have one provide me with the required disclosure that they are working for and have a fiducesary responsibility to the SELLER - not to the BUYER. When I asked one agent about this the response I got was `Caveat emptor` - `Let the buyer beware`. Not exactly what you want to hear from "your" real estate agent.
Based on my experineces I've decided to try to help people looking to buy Florida real estate connect with good real estate agents. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll provide you information on at least one agent who will be able to help you.
